Goal:

Once the Kite has harnessed the power of the wind and converted it into mechanical energy it will need to be turned into usable electrical energy.

The goal of the electrical section is to provide the means for transferring the mechanical energy into electrical energy that can be stored and used as needed.

It has been designed so that it can help demonstrate how providing electricity to remote areas provides for the needs of people in developing nations

Functions:

Convert rotating shaft into DC electricity.

Store DC electricity in batteries.

Convert DC electricity into usable AC electricity on demand.

Demonstrate possible uses of the electricity by people living in remote locations in the developing world.
